Dear Fellow Retailers,
Since establishing Weaver’s Dive & Travel Center in 1983, we have been organizing and escorting group trips to exotic destinations around the globe.
I realized early on that travel was going to be an integral part of my business — Colorado not being known for great local diving! I focused on growing the travel side of our business ultimately leading to the launch of our wholesale division.
One of my goals with Scuba Travel International is to help dive retailers nationwide develop and grow successful travel programs in their stores. Over the past two decades we have earned the trust of dive stores both locally and around the country, and we continue to work hard maintaining and growing these relationships.
I consider it an honor to have been invited to join the SDI/TDI/ERDI family of certification agencies and offer my expertise on the subject of selling travel by helping to launch Scuba Travel International. I was excited to be asked to participate in the DEMA Leadership Conference which focused on developing travel business for retail dive stores. This was especially important to me, as it is all about retailers helping retailers — a concept which I strongly support.
Scuba Travel International is unique in that along with being a travel wholesaler we have firsthand experience being a dive retailer. We understand the challenges dive stores face when selling group travel and most importantly we understand the importance of maximizing profit. With over two decades of organizing and leading group travel, we have developed relationships with the best service providers — ensuring your groups are met with personalized service of the highest caliber.
